Kevin Schlossman is a Los Angeles born percussionist. He is currently pursuing his Artist’s Diploma at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In San Francisco, he played with the American Bach Soloists, was assistant principal percussion of Symphony Parnassus, and was a founding member of the Bay Area Rainbow Percussion Ensemble, which frequently played in and around the city. He has had the privilege of working under and alongside such esteemed musicians as Gustavo Dudamel, John Adams, and James Conlon. An ardent proponent of chamber music, Kevin is currently a member of the Smoke and Mirrors Ensemble, a percussion group that strives to familiarize the public with the multi-faceted nature of percussive music.
